The Health Department encourages people to volunteer their time.

Types of volunteer jobs:

  • Crisis Intervention Center Advocates
  • Safe Harbor shelter volunteers
  • Outreach
  • Office work
  • Flu Clinic

Requirements for becoming a Calvert County Health Department Volunteer:

  • All volunteers must fill out a volunteer application and sign the confidentiality policy. 
  • A volunteer interview is scheduled to review schedules and training, potential volunteer jobs, and Calvert County Health Department--Volunteer needs
  • All volunteers are required to undergo confidentiality training.  Other training will be provided as needed.
