The Environmental Health Divisions promotes the public health of Calvert County residents and visitors by permitting, testing, and certifying the potability of all individual water supplies.
Major activities include:

• Site evaluations for new wells and issue well permits
• Replacement Well Applications
• Issue Potability Certificates

Applications for well construction permits are accepted only from licensed well drillers.
