Public Beach Monitoring
The Community Protection Program protects the public’s health by ensuring that community facilities meet required regulations. The Environmental Health Division is responsible for collecting water quality samples from all public bathing beaches from May until September. If there are indications that the water quality is below acceptable State standards, postings will be placed at the affected beach.
Public bathing beaches are required to have a permit and the current permit fee is $75.00.
