Environmental Health Services
The Environmental Health Division is tasked with protecting Calvert County against environmental hazards. Our goals in this function include:
- Preventing environmental pollution from sewage disposal systems of residential, industrial, and commercial sources.
- Promoting the public health of residents and visitors by permitting, testing, and certifying the potability of individual water supplies.
- Protecting the public by ensuring all of the foods produced, stored, and sold are safe, sanitary, and meet regulatory requirements.
