Prediabetes
Prediabetes is a condition in which blood sugar is high, but not high enough to be type 2 diabetes. Approximately 1 in 3 adults are at risk for developing prediabetes. An estimated 1 in 3 adults have prediabetes. 9 out of 10 people with prediabetes don't know they have it.

Prevent T2 Program
In person workshops are available both day and evening. Classes are no cost to you and are currently forming. Registration is required. Please complete the Registration form or call 410-535-5400, x355 or x514 to register. Confirmation calls will be made one week prior to start dates.
Designed for those with prediabetes, this year-long lifestyle change program is divided into 16 weekly sessions followed by monthly sessions. The program goal is to reduce body weight by 4-5% and increase physical activity by 150 minutes per week. Every 2.2 pounds of weight lost = reduced risk of diabetes.
